We seem to have a bit of a red car theme on this website at the moment but I think you will excuse us with this stunning drop top from Aston Martin. I personally favour the Blacks, Greys, Green and even Light Blue when it comes to car colours but I think the latest shots of the DBS convertible certainly look impressive in Red – especially with the contrasting air intakes at the front. This Aston DBS Volante convertible is due to be displayed at the Geneva motor show next month and showcases the latest in Astons Credit crunch special model releases! Powered on the same 6.0 V12 as the hard top coupe this model is going to be very close to the top on anyone’s dream car list. With figures of 510Bhp and 570 Nm of torque and 0-62 mph in just 4.2 seconds and maxing out at 191mph. The roof folds down in only 14 seconds and will work when travelling up to 30mph (unlike the Serbring I had in Florida which was 0 mph). Carbon fibre has been used as the material for the bonnet, front wings and boot lid and the DBS Volante comes fitted with impressive air intakes, bonnet vents and bumper splitters and 20 inch alloys. Don’t expect to see too many down at the Asda car park as they are set to cost £170,000.
