Audi A2 announced for release

This is the latest shots of the Audi A2 comeback model as Audi look set to bring back from the dead its small people carrier range. This new model will be badged up as the A2 and will be entered into the Supermini market alongside others such as the Mini, Clio and Twingo. Audi have based the design upon the soon to be on sale A1 5 door and will have features such as a sliding rear bench seat area to give a much more versatile interior, panoramic sunroof and bulked out wheel arches. Engine wise it looks likely that there will be a 1.2 supercharged and turbocharged TFSI model and also a 1.4 TFSI too. Transmission will be a manual 6 speed gearbox of the cool DSG auto and driving the A2 will be as exciting as with any of the other models in Audis current line up.
