Audi A5 Sportback option released

Well it certainly was to be expected but Audi have released shots and details of the forthcoming A5 Saloon/Sportback option. The A5 coupe has always been on of those cars that looked quite big from the outside but the rear seats were tight but Audi have decided to improve in this with the 5 door – four seater version of the ever popular A5.The 2.0 TFSI (178 and 208bhp) and 3.2-litre FSI petrol units, and 2.0-litre, 2.7-litre (187bhp) and 3.0-litre TDI (237bhp) diesels all get a seven-speed S tronic transmission. The 3.2-litre FSI petrol unit also gets an option of eight-speed Multi-tronic auto. For the petrol heads it is likely that the S5 Sportback will become reality with 329bhp V6 Supercharged engine and also word of a V8 RS5 Porsche hybrid design. Deliverys will hit the road in October and range in price from £27k upto £34k for the 3.0tdi S tronic.
