Audi R2 announced

This is the first released shots of the Audi R2 that has been announced and helps reinforce the fact that the Audi product range is the world’s best. With new collaborations with Porsche in the pipeline with the RS5 and the new R8 model with V10 power they are certainly taking over the market. The R2 is thought to have been developed with the VW R32 four wheel drive system – the Haldex. Engines are thought to include many existing units such as the 2.5-litre turbo charged unit with six speed manual gearboxes. In many ways this model is smaller baby version of the Audi R8 and will have a number of technological advances fitted. It will be out in 2012 and is priced from £30,000.
