Diesel John Cooper Works Mini

Mini have announced a car that certainly goes against the grain as far as performance Mini’s go in the new Diesel powered John Cooper works special edition model. Mini have finally given in and announced plans to improve the economy of their top model by installing the engine from the Cooper D increasing the output to 160bhp but with a decent level of torque. This is the model that appeals to real petrolheads so im not sure how this option will go down as it will lose a huge chunk of the petrol versions bhp.  Dont hold your breath though as its unlikely to be around any time this year especially with other Mini models in the pipeline such as the crossover Suv option.
