Electric Audi R8 out in 2012 – code name E Tron

Im not too sure about this Max Power paint job – or the concept of electric cars but the styling on this future model is spot on and builds upon the already stunning R8 looks.  Based upon the E-Tron concept car shown first at the Frankfurt motor show it is set to be Audi’s flagship Electric sports car for the time being.  When released the price tag will be £120,000 and so it will cost mode than the R8 and R8 V10 models but power output and max speed figures are not available. What we do know is the fact that it will have an electric motor on each wheel. While its not quite the same as the Audi featured in I-Robot the headlights on the picture above look quite cool though i think the wheels need improving some what.
