New Audi A1 – is it a threat to the Mini?

The everlasting range of Audi just got another car londer with the addition of the new Audi A1 model set to be showcased at the Geneva Motor show next month. Audi seemingly cannot fail with any of the models they release and this looks like being no exception. The packed super mini sector which sees rivals such as the Mini Cooper, Renault Twingo, Fiat 500, and the latest Citroen DS3. The Audi A1 is sized very close to that of the Ford Fiesta and so is sure to win over legions of fans. A single frame grille is the focus of the front end and the now standard LED set up is also available as the Xenon option. A new interior feature is the pop up dial for the MMI system with a 3d sat nav, voice control, bluetooth and 14 speaker Bose system. All engines are set to be turbo charged and the range toppper a 120 bhp 1.2 litre TFSI that manages 52.3 mpg.
