New Porsche 928 announced

In development is the new Porsche 928 that was last seen in production in 1995 and this will be the 5th generation edition. The new 928 will be aimed to rival the Ferrari 599 GTB, Bentley Continental GT and Aston Martin DB9 and will be based upon the other new edition the Panamera of which the 928 looks like being a two door, shortened wheel base version. The engine line up will be based upon a 4.8 litre V8 with or without a turbo charger to result in 400 bhp or 500 bhp with the more powerful Turbo’d version having 4 wheel drive only. Audi will also donate its 369bhp Supercharged V6 from the S4 to Porsches Hybrid model that should see fuel economy reach 30mpg.
