Peugeot RC Z

French car manufacturer Peugeot look to capitalise on the huge success of the 207cc with this new model called the RC Z. The main difference in the design seems to be the fact that Peugeot have decided to abandon the hard top convertible mechanism used on previous models and have switched it for a fabric roof on the RCZ. The top of the range model will be fitted with a 200bhp 1.6 litre turbo version which will give 140 mph and 0-60mph in sub 8 seconds. Other engine options will be an interesting 163bhp diesel model that will have a very economical 52.3 mpg yet still retain decent performance levels. From the initial shots released the Peugeot RC Z looks like winning the style wars and should follow the 207cc with big UK success. All versions will be fitted with a  6-speed manual gearbox, with a six-speed  auto also available.
