The UK car industry now faces major emergency the Government has been warned and the calls for a bailout are growing.Toyota are the latest company that have told workers that the Derby factory will close for two weeks in the early part of this year. Most car producers are on extended christmas breaks in production and Honda is also due to shut for 2 months.The knock on effect will mean that suppliers who produce production parts will either shut or go into administration also.Figures just out show that European new car sales fell by 25% for the month of November with a 36% reduction in the UK.
